Black Pearl Beach Club Review

My sister and I recently spent a day at Black Pearl Beach Club in Ksamil, Albania, and it was an absolute dream. The beach club is located on a stunning stretch of coastline, with crystal-clear water and white sand beaches. It’s also one of the many beach clubs in Albania that cater to both tourists and locals, which gives it a really authentic vibe. Because my sister and I are easily influenced by Instagram, we literally chose the Black Pearl because of the cute day beds hanging out over the ocean.

If you’re following my Albania 2-week Itinerary then you’ll visit the beach club on Day 3.

A Day at the Black Pearl Beach Club

When we arrived at the beach club at 11am, we were able to get one of the coveted hanging daybeds over the ocean. This cost 5000 LEK (50 Euros) for the full day. You can choose the beachfront seating option for a chapter alternative.

In addition to the hanging daybeds, there are also a variety of other seating options available at the beach club, including sun loungers, umbrellas, and tables. There’s also a full-service restaurant and bar, where you can enjoy a variety of food and drinks, including cocktails, mocktails, and seafood.

Drinks cost around 650 LEK and food ranges from 300 to 2000 LEK. We got simple omelets and salad as well as several drinks. Although cash was preferred, I paid via card after I agreed to pay the 3% credit card surcharge on top of my bill.

We spent the day swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the delicious food and drinks at Black Pearl Beach Club. Overall, we had an amazing time at Black Pearl Beach Club. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a beach club experience in Ksamil, I highly recommend Black Pearl Beach Club.

Tips for Visiting the Beach Club

  • The best time to visit is in the morning or early afternoon to avoid the crowds.
  • Be sure to pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, as the sun can be very strong.
  • If you’re staying for the day, I recommend renting a hanging daybed. It’s the best way to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
  • Black Pearl Beach Club accepts both cash and credit cards, but there is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments.
  • No need to book in advance, just show up early.
  • Although the entrance and drinks are a little pricey, if you want the Instagram-worthy day beds then it’s worth it.

Where to Park

Parking is available on the side of the road as you drive up to the club here. We paid 300 LEK. Paying for parking is totally normal in Albania in the tourist areas.
