My Favorite DC Breweries

These are my favorite DC Breweries for year-long beer and cider. They are usually covered and heated in the winter and have great summer vibes.

The Best DC Breweries

Atlas Brew Works— A fun spot to hang out inside or outside, facing the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A food truck or two is usually located by the brewery’s entrance.

Midlands Beer Garden— Head on to Georgia Ave for this cool garden space with bistro lights all around. There is a large food menu here as well.

Wunder Garden— A DC classic in NoMa. The beer garden is especially fun during their winter wonderland transformation. There are usually two food trucks around.

Dachaa Beer Garden— This beer garden in Shaw serves German beer. There are plenty of picnic benches for outdoor seating and nibs options. They have a second location in Navy Yard, too!

Biking Brewery Destination

Caboose Brewing Company

Caboose Brewing Company & Tavern— Located on the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. This is the best brewery to visit on a bike ride. Sit in the industrial space or outside. Don’t miss out on this spot!
